Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our team consists of skilled and experienced writers. However, aligning our creative approach with your brand vision can occasionally present challenges. After payment, we’ll send you a questionnaire to help us understand your goals, tone preferences, and key messaging. We use this information to guide our work and will always make our best effort to meet your expectations.
-
Once your order is complete, we’ll share a questionnaire form to gather details about you, your business, your journey, your goals, and the core message you want to convey. No need to overthink your responses - our team will create a polished, engaging article, news story or press release based on the information you provide.
-
To uphold our editorial guidelines, we cannot publish articles that feature unlawful goods or services, unsupported health claims, gambling activities, or deceptive financial offers. Some adult topics and crypto products may also be banned from some publications, but not all. If you’re uncertain about your brand’s eligibility, get in touch with us - we’re happy to assess your topic beforehand.

Yes. You’ll have the option to review and approve the article draft before publishing. Our writing service is limited to one draft and one round of edits for each article / news story. Please ensure you check the draft thoroughly and submit all the edits you need first time. If you want us to start again and create a fresh article, additional writing fees will apply. Please note that if you rewrite the article draft, or insert changes directly into the article, you will not be charged anything further. Please note, however, that some publications reserve the right to make minor edits at their discretion to align with their editorial style. These changes are beyond our control, and by placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.
-
This happens from time to time. The solution is always to simply let us know the changes you want to the first draft article, interview or news story we send you by communicating them directly to us. You are free to change the text, make edits or change links as you like prior to publication – providing the pre-agreed word/character count is not exceeded. Our team will correct any grammar and spelling mistakes prior to publication. Dissatisfaction with writing style or opting to write your own content does not qualify for a refund.
-
Once published, we cannot do anything to change the article, content, language, links (follow or no-follow) or any other details you might have an issue with, if we don’t know of that issue in advance. This is why it is very important to thoroughly check the draft article we send you for your approval prior to publication. You wanting changes after an article goes live does not qualify as grounds for a refund or chargeback.
-
While most articles typically remain live for several months or even years, some publishers may choose to take them down within 3 to 6 months of publication. This is a rarity though. However, as long as we successfully publish your article, interview, news story, or press release, no refund will be issued if the publisher later removes it.
-
Definitely. Personal branding is among the most common reasons clients choose Intrigue Publications. Whether you’re a model, public figure, coach, speaker, author, or consultant, being featured in reputable magazines and trusted media platforms can strengthen your credibility, support your pricing, and set you apart from others in your field. Every article we create is crafted to showcase your individual journey and expertise, making it a powerful way to boost your profile and build trust with potential clients or followers.
-
While many of the articles and stories we produce are published in English, some international publications may publish content exclusively in their local language (e.g., a Bulgarian magazine may publish in Bulgarian only). No refund will be issued if the publisher does not publish your article in English. Clients are welcome to use third-party translation tools or services to screenshot or view the content in English. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies that may arise from automated translations.
-
Yes. If for any reason your article or cover is not published due to an error on our part, or if the publication’s editor rejects the piece, we will provide a full refund. However, our review and editorial process is structured to achieve publication success in 99.9% of cases, and we’ll collaborate with you to address any concerns that arise along the way.
-
Yes, absolutely! Many of our clients choose monthly PR plans because they offer greater value and consistent exposure. These plans are more cost-effective (with a lower price per story), include multiple articles published each month, and provide ongoing coverage to continuously build brand awareness. If you’re interested in our monthly PR packages, simply reach out through our Contact Us page - we’ll be happy to share further details and retainer rates.

Many of the publications we work with include Do-follow backlinks, while others do not. Additionally, some outlets may revise their backlink policies at any time, such as switching a follow link to a nofollow link after the content has been published. This aspect of the service is largely outside of our control, and we do not offer refunds if a link’s status changes post-publication. We aim to provide the most accurate and current information during the sales process, but please be aware that publication policies can shift without notice. While nofollow links may not directly impact SEO rankings, they can still offer value. For example, they can generate meaningful referral traffic when readers click through, potentially leading to customer engagement or conversions. In some cases, even a nofollow link placed in the right context can result in sales or inquiries. Beyond SEO, all backlinks - whether follow or nofollow - can contribute to brand credibility and authority in your industry. It’s important to evaluate the broader benefits of link placement, rather than focusing solely on SEO value. Some professionals advocate for a balanced mix of link types, while others lean toward a higher volume of follow links. Ultimately, the goal should be to make strategic choices that strengthen your brand and support long-term business objectives.
